Another great workout
I pushed myself past what the elliptical was telling me to do! I burned 320 calories in 25 minutes and plan on doing another 25 minute workout tonight after dinner. I am finally starting to get the hang of this exercise thing and finally have some endurance. Now I wish my body would catch up and lose some lbs!

exercise as an outlet
I had a pretty disapointing morning and I kept thinking of all these excuses why I shouldn't exercise today but then I FORCED myself to buck up and work thru the pain (emotional and physical) and I got on the elliptical. SO glad that I did! I never thought that I would enjoy exercise and that I would use it as an outlet. I guess that is a step in the right direction!

so proud of myself
I have been kicking butt all week at my workouts. I think there was a glitch in my scale Tuesday morning when I weighed in because it said that I gained 5.6 pounds (the next morning I was back down to my previous week's weight so I lost 5 pounds overnight?!) so I decided to bump it up. Here is what I have done so far this week:
Tuesday:
2-20 minute workouts (burned 400 calories total)
Wednesday:
2-20 minute workouts (burned 400 calories total)
Thursday:
1-20 minute workout (200 calories burned)
1-25 minute workout (300 calories burned)
Friday:
2-25 minute workouts (600 calories burned)
I plan on doing 2 workouts tomorrow, 1 on Sunday, 2 on Monday then taking my rest day on Tuesday. I hope I can at least lose a pound or two next weigh in. I am already down 1 pant size so I am happy about that but I have a long ways to go.

workouts are going so much better
That day of rest really did me a world of good. I feel stronger, in better shape, and have better stamina. So far my week looks like this:

2-25 minute work outs (1 down, 1 to go)
It's nice that working out gets my mind to do other things besides obsess over having another baby. I know that ultimatly losing weight and working out will make my body healthier for a baby :-) God has a plan for me and I just have to keep remembering that he will give us a baby when he decides. It's hard to put control in someone else's hands but I have to have faith and get rid of my control issues :-)

thankful for a rest day
I am so thankful for a rest day today. I think it is just what my body needed! I weighed in today and lost 3 pounds this past week. Makes my hard work seem worth it! So excited to see what this next week brings!

2 workouts yesterday
So I did my 2 workouts yesterday. 25 minutes each, 300 calories burned each time. I am SO sore this morning. My body hurts everywhere but I have to work thru it and do another 2 workouts today. I am hoping my coffee will kick in ASAP and I can work thru the hurt!

Fitness journal
I have decided that I am going to start a fitness journal/blog to keep track of how much exercise I am doing and what I am putting into my body.
Todays workout:
25 minutes elliptical
275 calories burned
I am going to try and fit in another work out tonight after dinner with friends but we will see how that goes since I am sure Bailey will be in bed by the time I get home and the elliptical can be loud :-) Here is my workout goals for the week:
Sunday: 2-25 minute work outs
Monday 2-25 minute work outs
Tuesday 2-25 minute work outs
Wednesday 1-25 minute work out
Thursday 1-25 minute work out
Friday 2-25 minute work outs
Saturday 2-25 minute work outs
So that totals 300 minutes or 5 hours total. We will see if I can handle that much!
